The level and influencing factors of spare time planning of clinical nurses

Objective To investigate the current situation of spare time planning among nurses,and to analyze the influencing factors to provide a reference for managers to design interventions to improve nurses’ leisure crafting. Methods From February to May 2023,271 clinical nurses from 2 tertiary general hospitals were selected by convenience sampling method in Wenzhou City. Questionnaire surveys were conducted through the general information questionnaire,the Leisure Crafting Scale,the Self-Identity Scale,and the Perceived Organizational Support Scale. Results A total of 257 valid questionnaires were collected,and the nurses’ leisure crafting score was 18~25(26.93± 8.08). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that self-identity and perceived organizational support of nurses were the main influencing factors on nurses’ leisure crafting (P<0.01). Conclusion The score of nurses’ spare time planning is in the middle level. Nursing managers can provide targeted training for nurses with different professional titles,set reasonable goals for spare time planning,and improve nurses’ sense of organizational support by giving them positions and increasing opportunities for further training,so as to help nurses to adjust their role cognition and improve their social status to improve their self-identity and ultimately promote their level of spare time planning.

Positive psychological experience of stroke patients:a qualitative meta-synthesis

Objective To analyze and evaluate the positive psychological experience of stroke patients to provide reliable bases for their psychological nursing. Methods Chinese and English databases,such as PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,CINAHL,PsycINFO,CNKI,Wanfang Database,VIP,and CBM,were searched,and the literature on the qualitative research on the inner positive psychological experience of stroke patients was retrieved. The time limit of the retrieval was from the establishment to April 2021. The literature quality was evaluated using the 2016 Australian JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Center Quality Evaluation Criteria for Qualitative Research,and the results were consolidated using meta integration method. Results A total of 14 studies were included,and 65 results were extracted and summarized into 12 new categories,which were combined into 3 integrated results. (1)Positive coping attitude and psychology:accepting and adapting to stroke,feeling lucky and grateful,optimistic and positive to face the situation,strong spiritual strength,goals and hope for the future;(2)Positive changes after stroke:increasing health awareness,more intimate and harmonious interpersonal relationships,personal growth,new thinking about the philosophy of life;(3)Support factors of positive psychology;positive coping strategies at the individual level,social support from family,friends and peers,social support from the medical system. Conclusion Existing evidence suggests that patients with cerebral apoplexy after stroke will have a positive psychological experience and change. Nursing staff should pay more attention to the patient’s psychological state and the support of the positive psychology factors,meet their psychological needs,help patients strengthen social support system,and maintain a positive mental state,in order to promote patients to recover and improve the quality of life.

Objective To systematically evaluate the disease experience and psychological feeling of young and middle-aged stroke patients,so as to provide theoretical bases for medical staff to meet the needs of patients,improve the quality of nursing services,and further improve the rehabilitation treatment effect and mental health of the population. Methods The computer retrieval was performed in PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,ProQuest,CBM,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP for the qualitative research on real experience,psychological experience and feeling of young and middle-aged patients with cerebral apoplexy,with the retrieval time from inception to July 2020. The literature quality was evaluated using the qualitative research quality evaluation criteria of the Joanna Briggs Institute Evidence-based Health Care Center in Australia,and the research results were summarized and integrated using the pooled integration method. Results A total of 14 articles were included;90 themes were extracted;9 categories were summarized;3 integrated results were formed,namely breaking the normal life,seeking attention and support,getting a positive experience. Conclusion Nurses should pay attention to the negative psychological status of patients,unite family and social support to help patients build confidence and return to family and society. They also need to improve their professionalism,formulate targeted rehabilitation plans for patients,improve continuous nursing services,and provide timely professional support for patients. Special attention should also be given to the positive psychological experience of patients,so as to assist patients to maintain a positive state,and achieve a virtuous circle.
